Recession-proof fundraising focus of nonprofit workshop
GREENVILLE, N.C. – Fundraising will be the focus
of an Oct. 22 workshop for nonprofits.
Part of a statewide lunch ‘n’ learn series
sponsored by the Raleigh-based Philanthropy Journal ,
the workshop will feature Michelle Speas, who was named
2008 Fundraiser of the Year by Fundraising Success magazine.
The workshop, to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
at the Hilton Greenville, will offer strategies on how
to increase annual giving, rethink stewardship strategies,
and strengthen your development program.
The registration fee for the workshop is $20 for Philanthropy
Journal subscribers, and $30 for nonsubscribers. Lunch
will be served and is included in the registration fee.
